While the kidnapping of John Walsh's son Adam was told in the most popular TV movie of all time and raised the country's consciousness about tracking down missing children, the movie never told the explosive and intimate details of what really happened behind the scenes in the Walsh family with even Reve speaking for the first time.
'Tears of Rage' tells the story of how John Walsh got screwed through the justice system in which he is the chief fighter because of "legal happenstance." The Last Angry Man is still very angry. While police believe serial killer Otis Toole abducted and killed Adam (he even admitted it), Adam's death and his court case fell through legal loopholes. John and Reve have never had closure on their son's case as Otis Toole died in prison just last year without being brought up on charges relating to Adam. To this day, an hour doesn't go by when the Walshs' don't think and sometimes break down crying for their beloved son. While they have three children, all born after Adam's death, they still consider themselves a family of "six". As they say, "We will always have four children."
