'The ABC Book of Kids in the Kitchen' features fun recipes for children to prepare in the kitchen with an adult. Recipes vary from simple, colourful party food through to healthy, quick snacks and more involved recipes. Both cold and hot dishes are included. Recipes are arranged by "food group" - fruit, vegetable, dough, pizza, jelly, party food etc.
Fun, safe extension activities and craft accompany each page. Double page spreads about special occasions and cleaning up are also included. The recipes and activities are specifically designed by an early childhood expert to develop fine motor skills and introduce children to new creative concepts.
