Pinkie has rhythm, so much of it that she can't sit still. She jiggles and wiggles from the moment she gets up until she goes to bed at night. The day before her mum's beach birthday party, she jiggles all the way to town to help Dad get some last-minute bits and pieces. But when she realizes that she hasn't got her mum a present, suddenly Pinkie stops still. What will she do? The Grandpies are off to the Village Hall to do line dancing and her friend Hattie to her ballet class so they're too busy to help. But all this dancing has Pinkie thinking . . .
