Started in 1940 and alternating bi-annually, The Broons Annual and the oor Wullie Annual have always been the 'must-have' Christmas gift for Scots or folk with a Scottish connection. However no Broons Annual was issued in 1944 or 1946 due to paper shortages because of the war, and the jigsaws were released instead. Now highly collectible, 'The Living Room' jigsaw - a picture of the Broon family at home at No. 10 Glebe Street - replace the 1944 Broons Annual and was released in the autumn of 1943. This is a 400 piece jigsaw puzzle celebrating the anniversary of the original publication.
