The Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Nepalese and Tibetan holdings make up one of the most significant and comprehensive collections of Himalayan art outside of Asia. These five images have been drawn from LACMA's permanent collection, and most are featured in The Circle of Bliss: Buddhist Meditational Art, an exhibition organised by LACMA and the Columbus Museum of Art. The Circle of Bliss presents paintings, sculptures, textiles, and ritual objects associated with the Chakrasamvara Tantra, a profound methodology for purification in the quest towards enlightenment.
