The Rugby World Cup will be the biggest event of 1999 in the British sporting calendar and will bring down the curtain on rugby in the 20th century. The Rugby World Cup final will be played at the new National Stadium in Cardiff on 6th November and this book will be published within three weeks of the presentation of the Webb Ellis Trophy to the winning captain.
'The Complete Book of the Rugby World Cup 1999' will be a comprehensive record of every game played, with contributions from leading writers and commentators on the game.
There will be interviews with captains, coaches and leading players throughout the book and additional features in which Barry John will pick the best player in the tournament, Andy Irvine will chose the most memorable moment and Rob Andrew and Willie John McBride will select 15 players to form the Dream Team of Rugby World Cup 1999.
Full colour photographs will cover every game played with extensive pictorial coverage of the final stages.
The book also contains a full record of the teams and results in all rounds of the competition.
