A New Home is the second part of Jose's story. In the first book, Jenny's Rescue, Jenny finds the abandoned and injured wild kitten. Jose's injury, that makes him drag his hind leg, is not from a break or apparent injury. Now home with Jenny and her family, Jose begins to trust, and whether from love or just care, he begins to walk again- just as he is introduced by Jenny with his injury to her friends at show and tell. Its like the best of endings or rather the best of beginnings at his new home.
