In 'The Disney Treasures' author Robert Tieman led readers on a tour through some of the highlights of Walt Disney's career and company, from his earliest sketches through to the beginnings of his last projects and the building of an international audience for Mickey and friends. In this companion volume, 'The Disney Experience', Tieman returns to the archives to fill in the history of Disney during Walt's lifetime, fleshing out some of the early stories with more detail and also visiting fan favourites that were not included in the first volume.
Featuring more fascinating and never-before-seen removable facsimiles from the archives, 'The Disney Experience' is arranged chronologically, as was 'The Disney Treasures', with each spread covering a different topic in the Disney story. Likewise, the design captures the same sense of whimsy, fun, and elegance.
Upon publication, 'The Disney Treasures' quickly became a favourite among Disney fans, and the demand for a second volume was overwhelming. Tieman was besieged by readers' requests: "Next time, you should be sure to talk about . . . " or, "You left my favourite movie out!".
'The Disney Experience' is his answer to the many fans who are eager to experience even more of the behind-the-scenes wonder of the world of Walt Disney.
