Australian Children's Illustrators
Dromkeen, a homestead in the small township of Riddells Creek, outside Melbourne, Victoria, is famous for its collection of children's books and illustration. But Dromkeen is more than an important collection: it is a dynamic centre for displays, lectures, children's activities, research - anything which will illuminate and give greater insights into children's and young adult literature.
This book is a homage to Australian illustrators, displaying the wonderful work of illustrators of Australian children's picture books. It is both an historical record of the development of illustration and a portfolio of the wide range of work being done today.
