This book explores the economic benefits of religion in Australia, delving into how religious altruism and private philanthropy impact society. Initiated at Deloitte's Sydney offices in 2012 by an interfaith economic think tank, the project aimed to uncover giving behaviors of religiously observant individuals beyond their churches. Stemming from advice by Professor Ram Cnaan, the Study of the Economic Impact of Religion on Society (SEIROS) was launched, culminating in the "Contributing to Australian Society Survey."
