This book is for people who don't particularly enjoy surfing the net. It assumes basic knowledge and does not contain information on how to use the net. The sites are general but chosen for their skill in linking with other more specific sites. For example a general football site is recommended where you can move to specific teams. It is easy to use in an A - Z of net subjects. Yahoo, BBC, WHS and other major "hub" sites have a page of their own.
The book has a cross-referenced index and includes around 500 web sites for all the family.
