San Francisco book-restoration expert Brooklyn Wainwright was hoping for a fun, relaxing weekend at a local book fair, but a murderer made other plans in the latest in this New York Times bestselling series.
Brooklyn and her new hunky husband, Derek, are excited to be guests at Dharma's first annual Book Fair. Brooklyn will do book-and-wine pairings, and is especially delighted to come up with some Little Women-inspired pairings for the featured book of the fair. Dharma's home to a happy hippie, artsy community and Brooklyn's parents, Becky and Jim, were among the founding members.
Derek's parents will be there too, so Meg, his mom, and Becky have a booth where they read palms and conduct seances. When the moms see theft and murder in their readings, Brooklyn wonders if they've been watching too many true crime exposes. Unfortunately, their visions prove true and now Brooklyn and Derek have to catch a spineless killer.
