Sure, it's the most successful book ever to come out of the great publishing corporations of Ursa Minor, but is it as good as everyone says? Short answer: 'yes'. Shorter answer: 'y', but that doesn't make sense. Long answer: 'Well, what do you mean by good? It's not good to eat, it's not good to inflate and sleep on; and who is this “everyone”? Douglas Adams' humour is laugh out loud funny, his expressive writing puts you inside the story with Aurthur and Ford, and this is why The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: A Trilogy In Four Parts has become an annual read of mine.
