Spud has had a very serious accident. He's on death's doorstep, but not knocking yet. That's when Gazza and Rachel, two young punk neurosurgeons, whisk Spud away to a salami factory, which is really just a front for Professor Snood's experimental laboratory . . . Spud is about to become a wheelie-bin with attachments and bio-feedback mechanisms! A prototype only though. Snood's plan is to make Spud a rocket, fired from Woomera to explore deep space - forever. Gazza, Rachel and Spud don't want to be Snood's stooges . . . what follows is a very entertaining, visual story; hilarious, crazy, fast-paced - and it's almost believable!
