Two new main characters join ranks with the Illuminae Group to tell what happened on Kerenza after the initial refugee escape. Asha is a resistance fighter who is unexpectedly faced with the boy she thought she would grow old with. They have not seen each other for three years and Rhys now works for BeiTech - the company invading Kerenza. Can Asha convince Rhys to turn against his employer?
Tying together all three storylines is my favourite character AIDAN - the artificial intelligence residing in the computer on board the spaceship as well as Kady's handheld unit - he has again made hard decisions so Kady can survive. Can a machine understand love? I think AIDAN can.

"Obsidio" is a masterpiece; it is all I could have wanted and more. The characters, the plot, the messages… I loved it all.
"Obsidio" is surprisingly political and has a large focus on the ramifications of war. But more than anything, it showcases the complicated, multifaceted nature of humanity.
Though I could go on forever, I will simply say this: everything ties in together, AIDAN is the best, the girl power is real, many emotions will be felt, perspective is everything & Amie and Jay are evil geniuses.
Read it, listen to it, and force it upon your friends because The Illuminae Files deserves all the hype and more. - Melissa (QBD)
