Kuan Yin was human many times in the past and has pledged herself to an infinite expression of compassion and friendship to humanity. She will help whenever you call on her with a sincere heart. In Chinese, Kuan-shih-yin describes a saviour who hears and sees suffering and responds with potent aid.
