The Late Child

Harmony Palmer, ex-Vegas showgirl, isn't having much luck in the love department - or any other for that matter. Her lover's moved out, and her daughter Pepper has just died in New York. The only good thing in her life is her five-year-old son Eddie.

Then Harmony's bickering sisters turn up with plans to whisk Harmony home to the family in Oklahoma. On their disaster-plagued journey across the country they lose all their possessions, inadvertently book into a brothel - and Eddie's dog falls off the Statue of Liberty. Ultimately, unfamiliar situations force the sisters to take a fresh look at their own lives and relationships.
