Leo is angry. It's the fourth anniversary of the brutal murder of his sister. He keeps picturing her stabbed body and he can't get the images out of his mind. He drives through the run-down streets of his home town in a rage.
Bree is slumming it in those same streets. It's a world away from her own affluent neighbourhood. She wants an evening to herself, without her fussing mother or controlling boyfriend telling her what to do.
Leo spots Bree, wonders why she should be live when his sister isn't, and in an instant, takes her hostage.
In the course of a long night full of terror, honesty and emotion, Leo and Bree face up to some difficult truths, and respond to each other in unexpected ways.
