No sooner have Sam and Lincoln arrived in their new home town of Amethyst than they find themselves drawn to its mysterious purple lake. Summoned by the lost Wizard Shimmaron, the boys find themselves transported to a strange kingdom where nothing is quite as it seems. The brothers must find the wizard and get back to Amethyst, orface life in the Evil Overlord's sinister army.
