BEWARE this novel contains foul language and foul thoughts. If it was a film (which it will be) it would bear an 18 rating. Also you might die laughing. On the other hand it is intensely dramatic and exciting and contains some of the most sweetly crafted sentences you will ever read in English. Mal Peet has turned in a masterpiece.
