When an old man with a rat phobia comes to live in the boarding house belonging to Oliver's parents, a train of horrifying events is set in motion. Oliver is sure that the old demolition site nearby holds something of enormous power - and that it's linked to the old man. But what can it be?
Then Oliver hears an anguished cry from the cellar, and is suddenly drawn into the nightmare world of the past. Can he survive the Great Plague and resolve the events tormenting the present?
