This book will introduce you to the plants of the snowfields, from the winter snow line to the alpine and subalpine tracts. It is not merely an introduction to the wonder and splendour that is Kosciuszko and its flora, but an introduction to the botany of the Australian flora.
The second part of this book presents descriptions of the plants of the Kosciuszko alpine and subalpine tracts in words and line drawings. While many plants are illustrated in full colour and can be identified with ease from these illustrations, reference to the carefully detailed line drawings of most species will make the task of identifying plants much easier and more enjoyable.
