'The Quentaris Chronicles' is a collection of stand-alone fantasy books from some of Australia's finest authors.
Yukin and his sister Yulen, along with other members of their tribe, are caught and transported to another world by the "false" Dmenians.
On their journey through the rift caves to Quentaris, Yulen becomes a "special". Her sudden ability to see the near future fetches a much higher price at the slave blocks. Unbeknown to the slave traders, Yukin also discovers a "power", that of tapping into the senses of insects and animals. He calls this ability "mindsight".
When they reach Quentaris, the slave traders sell their prisoners. Yukin sets himself the task of finding and freeing his sister. But first he has to gain the confidence of his new owners.
