From a hole in the wall above the teacher's desk, a young schoolmouse called Flora listens to the children practising their reading. Being a very intelligent and inquisitive mouse, she secretly joins in the lessons, and before long becomes the world's most educated mouse. Then one day the mice wake up to find lots of tempting blue pellets scattered around the school. Only Flora knows how dangerous they really are . . .
