Thowra's speed and courage have always saved him from the men who want to capture him . . . but now the men come on skis, moving quickly and silently over the mountain range. They know the legendary silver stallion has a daughter, a beautiful, highly prized, silver brumby, and the brumby hunters are determined to capture her, no matter what it takes.
Thowra does all in his power to evade the men slipping through the mountains, but on a night of terrifying storms - when hail and chunks of ice fly through the air, and trees are destroyed in fierce winds - Kunama, Thowra's daughter, disappears. Should Thowra let Storm and the other brumbies look for her, or follow the trail himself?
