Vamana is a dwarf, misshapen and ugly. With the realisation that, despite his magical gift for storytelling, he is always going to be an outcast, Vamana turns his back on conventional society and instead seeks out the pimps, pickpockets and hijras (eunuchs) of Delhi's dark and dangerous underworld.
