Now I do have a massive crush on Shona Vertue, but her book is solid. I promise.

Her experiences as a former elite gymnast and yoga instructor formed her but her work with strength training completed her.Her 3 pillars of lifting, lengthening, and nourishing are a great combination.
Her book is definitely for beginners in many areas, but strength-focussed people (like myself) will benefit from the stretches, yoga, and mobility work.
The folk afraid of weights and getting 'bulky' will have their concerns met; 'toning' doesn't exist!
Check your ego and you'll benefit somewhere.
