Illustrated by Jack Tickle
The lazy ladybird liked to sleep all day and all night. And because she slept all day and all night, she didn't know how to fly.
One day, she wanted to sleep somewhere else, but what could she do if she couldn't fly? So she hopped onto the kangaroo but that was too bouncy. She hopped onto the tiger but that was too noisy. Finally she hopped onto the elephant's trunk, but the elephant had a tickle which made him sneeze - and the lazy ladybird is blown high into the sky, so she has to use her wings afterall.
