Maggie has four adopted grandfathers, all former pirates. Together they live at Hotel Bliss, situated on Lake Bliss where the waters are said to be restorative. But when a man comes along and says he is the true owner of Hotel Bliss, Maggie and the grandfathers are forced into coming up with the money to send him away. The grandfathers say they have a buried treasure in the Yucatan but they need a true thief to go and retrieve it.
So they hire Rafe Morgan. But Rafe has been pardoned by the Texas government. If he is caught committing any crime, he will be thrown in jail. But when Rafe meets Maggie and the grandfathers, he knows he has to help. Besides, the Yucatan is not Texas. But the treasure isn't there, it's back in Texas. Then Maggie's long lost pirate father shows up and all hell breaks loose. And Maggie and Rafe are caught up in the shenanigans as they fall in love.
