Set on a Scottish island, The Wolf Tree is a small town murder mystery that is equal parts unsettling & intense throughout. When a body is discovered at a lighthouse, it seems like a case of suicide. However there seems to be superstition and secrets that shroud this case. It’s a fast paced mystery that will have you immersed from start to finish. - Monique (QBD)

Laura McClusky’s Wolf Tree was an enjoyable take on a locked room mystery, with an intriguing look at the ins and outs (and insiders and outsiders) of an insular, isolated island community. It has a great blending of regular small-town secrecy intertwined with something more cultish, and I thought it had a solidly unique voice and story to tell. - Sam (QBD)
