The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine
Eighteen-year-old Sarah begins her diary in the summer of 1881, when her family sets out on the wagon trail from Arizona Territory - hotter than the devil's frying pan - to greener pastures in Texas.
They travel through a land of rattlesnacks and Indians, hastily dug graves and unbearable loneliness. Full of fire and strength Sarah turns out to be her family's greatest support.
