The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine
Eighteen-year-old Sarah begins her diary in the summer of 1881, when her family sets out on the wagon trail from Arizona Territory - hotter than the devil's frying pan - to greener pastures in Texas.
They travel through a land of rattlesnacks and Indians, hastily dug graves and unbearable loneliness. Full of fire and strength Sarah turns out to be her family's greatest support. But she is tender as well as tough, and in the harsh and unforgiving landscape of the West, Sarah meets the man who is to be her greatest passion.
