It was a cold and clear January day when the will was read in a small Bengali village on the banks of the Ganges. And so it was that the villagers learned that a rich landowner had left her money to their community so that they might 'see all of India'. Thus began a unique journey as forty villagers set off in a special third class railway carriage to travel from the soggy plains of Bengal and the tropicana of the deep south to the alpine majesty of the Himalayas.
