Alberta receives more hours of sunshine yearly than any other Canadian province. Five of Canada's 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites can be found in Alberta. Between Vancouver Island and Alberta there are more than 30 ski resorts. One of these is Whistler, consistently voted the number 1 ski resort in North America. Vancouver is ready for a massive tourist influx as it hosts the 2010 Winter Olympics. Edmonton welcomes over 4 million visitors annually, Calgary 4.2 million and the Rocky Mountain Parks nearly 3 million.
