AUTHOR: Tori Higa holds a degree if Fine Art from Pepperdine University. She has worked as a starving artist, graphic design assistant, and textile designer before finding her niche as an illustrator for stationary products. Her passion for illustration, combined with her desire to do someting creative for a lving, led her to fall in love with the thought of starting her own stationary company. However, the idea of becoming a small business owner was not as easy as to fall in love with as the idea of designing the cards themselves. Reluctantly, Tori learned as much as she could about running a small business in order to turn her dreams of being a self-employed illustrator into a reality.
