Tohby Riddle is the author of seven picture books and humour books published in Australia and overseas. His reputation was established with the picture books The Great Escape from City Zoo and The Tip at the End of the Street.He believes in portraying deeper issues in his picture books than the children's book' classification would suggest. Indeed, in a recent article on children's book classification in The Age, Tohby defies these boundaries and is proud of the fact that his books are bought by adults too and enjoyed at different levels by children and adults.
