1986. Jack Ryan is a thirty-five-year-old Special Assistant to the Deputy Director of the CIA.
A Soviet KGB officer stationed in East Berlin Station is on the verge of defecting. He wants to be on the right side of history when the Wall comes down, but his life is at stake. The only person he can trust is Jack Ryan.
So begins a perilous mission where nothing is as it seems. The Stasi are not the only threat; there are many in the USSR and the United States with their own nefarious agendas. They will kill to preserve the status quo and Jack must play a dangerous game in order to escape with his life.
