Steven and Stella are an English couple in LA - debauched, married, illegal and on the run. She works in a gallery and has affairs; he watches, and listens, and drives a boat for a plastic surgeon. She thinks she has a stalker; he congratulates her on having "this year's must-have accessory". The cop she calls in thinks he's dealing with a couple of English wackos with terrible teeth, although he'll admits she's sexy as hell.
