Elli has just been dumped by Ben, so she's fragile to say the least. Certainly in no mood for a new relationship. And she's starting to wonder if she's even capable of one. But she's not one to stay at home and wallow in self-pity.
The Martini Den is the hippest bar in the city. Minnow had never been there until he went there that night. Elli went there all the time. They meet over a Canadian Club and Dry and it's lust at first sight. There's just one problem - she's got a kid. Well, that's what she tells him, anyway. And just as they're about to get it together, Elli finds out that Minnow has a kid too. Or does he?
They are two commitment-phobics sabotaging their relationships; both trapped in lies, making it impossible for them to be together. How could this story possibly have a happy ending?
