The island of Mistmantle is in turmoil. The king and queen are loosing authority over their people and behind the scenes a wicked pair are determined to take control. When a murder is committed, a powerful couple attempt to seize control over the king and the whole island, through lies and trickery.
The animals of Mistmantle soon realise that they must fight back - a fight in which Urchin, unaware of the prophecy made in his name, will have a dangerous but crucial role to play.
