This book offers a detailed look at the ambitious project to expand Seville's "FIBES" exhibition centre. Seville's Exhibition and Congress Centre, also known as FIBES, is one of Spain's most important and prestigious public facilities. The Original building was designed by Alvaro Navarro Jimenez and opened in 1989. In 2008, in order to accommodate ever increasing demand, acclaimed Spanish architect Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra, was tasked with expanding the centre to include an auditorium with a 3,500-person capacity, 900 extra parking spaces, and a number of extra conference facilities. The finished project cost Euro 120million and opened in 2012.
