VCs of the First World War: Somme, 1916

Covering all the men who gained VCs during the Somme campaign 1916, it tells the story in chronological order. Many photos and maps included with descriptions of the actions where these VCs were gained. Sadly, many of the men didn't survive the battle, or indeed the war. This book is a legacy to their memory and courage, struggling to survive in terrible conditions in what was one of the great battles of the Great War 1914-1918.
