The metalworking company Constructies Espeel in Roeselare is an SME specialising in the supply of goods, design sheets and welding work. Since 1989 the company has been collaborating with artists such as Paul Gees, Leo Copers, Isa Genzken and Ann-Veronica Janssen. From 1998 onwards this was followed by several exhibitions of which the most recent, touch me... (2001), was held in the company production hall. The driving force behind the fruitful collaboration between industry and art is the husband and wife team Michel Espeel and Julie Vandenbroucke.
