The Apostle Peter tells us as Christians that our purpose is to 'proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light' (1 Peter 2:9). The term 'apologetics' is just a fancy way of describing our privilege to proclaim the excellencies of our God.
