In the third story in the 'Wild About Horses' series, the friends from Cottonwood Farm, Georgia, Becca, Simon and Sarah, go on a camping holiday. They take their ponies with them - and, much to their annoyance, Simon's cousin Jack comes along too.
After a scratchy start, rebellious Becca and over-confident Jack become firm allies, and their escapades make for some difficult and exciting situations. It turns out that Jack knows very little about horses. As a result of his lack of care, their beloved pony Goldie goes missing, and the children must all work together to find her.
