The book provides practise in tracing shapes, in left to right orientation, and teaches how to form each lower-case letter of the alphabet. A wipe-clean card for each letter of the alphabet teaches correct letter formation for upper-case and lower-case letters.
The book teaches the letters in groups according to their shape, while the cards can be used in any order. A green dot shows the starting point, a red arrow shows the direction of travel, and where appropriate a blue dot shows where you should change direction.
