Welcome to Harrison, Massachusetts, a quaint, friendly college town nestled in the hills of New England. The perfect place to toss a frisbee on campus or catch a Saturday Danfield College football game. But Harrison is also home to something far more sinister.
For nearly 300 years, a vicious coven of witches has survived in the shadows, rising once-a-century to wreak havoc. Harrison's witches aren't of the black-hatted, broomstick-flying variety - they are demonic, bloodthirsty creatures with a need to feed on human flesh. Their hideous aging bodies are dying and each must find a satisfactory human to inhabit. Only two things stand between the witches and the town: a defiantly savvy college freshman, Wendy Ward, who has a consuming interest in 'white magic,' and a local amateur historian who begins to uncover the startling truth, that these witches were once local townswomen who burned at the stake in 1699 - the era of the Salem Witch Trials.
