Davina Fletcher had a comfortable life and a comfortable boyfriend until the death of her uncle changed all that. As her home and artist's studio was in the grounds of his house, it was always assumed that she would inherit everything. Instead she finds she has a new landlord in the shape of the tall, dark and handsome Jay Prescott, an American lawyer with a taste for Davina's paintings - and soon for Davina herself.
