After living in New York City for a decade, Josie Blair returns to her hometown of Dorset Falls, Connecticut, a thing she swore she'd never do. But her crotchety great uncle, Eben Lloyd, who is recovering from a broken leg sustained in the car wreck that claimed the life of his wife of six months, needs help. And right now Josie's the only family member available to give it. At Eb's request, Josie begins the process of closing up her erstwhile Aunt Cora's downtown yarn shop, Miss Marple Knits. But when Josie finds one of the ladies of the local Charity Knitters Association dead on a bier of expensive cashmere yarn in the shop, she begins to suspect a connection. Was her aunt's death really an accident? It turns out that more than one person wanted these ladies dead. Josie must untangle a snarl of clues to clear her own name and find out who's killing the great knitters of Dorset Falls.
