One house, four kids, and a great deal of trouble . . .
In Megan's rambling house above the river live Anna, Raymond, Sam and Brent. Not exactly a family - Megan calls them a jumbily; a jumble of people trying to become a family.
They each have their problems: Sam eats and eats; Raymond won't talk (and what does he do down by the river when he bunks off school?); Brent has a weakness for sports cars and Anna can't resist going along for the ride - all of which leads to a great deal of trouble as turbulent as the waters below the house . . .
An absorbing and dramatic novel about a foster family.
