It's Christmas Eve and the day of the North Pole's annual Snow Festival. But Santa can't go outside because his hat has gone missing! Mrs. Claus proposes he try a new hat for the day and shows him a chest full of other hats. One by one, and with the help of his dogs Bell and Bow, Santa tries on new hats while imagining a different persona for each. Can Santa pull off a cowboy hat, a hockey helmet, or a detective's cap?
